Castlefort
Primary School decided to try and raise some money towards a school
minibus. They did this by running a mini marathon on 13th March. The whole
school was involved with KS 1 running round the field, KS 2 and the
parents race was a course mapped around Shire Oak estate, 2.6 miles, a
tenth of the real marathon! All children participated with medals for all,
a trophy for the winning parent, girl and boy. It was marshalled by
all staff and parents proving to be an exciting and fun day! The school
